This is the most common issue we have right now. There are lots of scams out there and we can appreciate doing your homework. A few ways we have put customers minds at ease in the past

We have a 20+ year history in the exterior industry, formerly Advance Exteriors one of the largest exterior contractors in Manitoba and now Advance Building Supplies where we just focus on supporting other contractors across the country.

Unfortunately we only stock machines in our Winnipeg location. By having one central warehouse where we stock all the machines it keeps our costs to a minimum. If we added other locations we would have to start adding more staff and more costs which would make our business unsustainable unless we increased prices and started selling other products. Our goal is to stay focused on our business and current customers. We do however welcome you to come visit us at our Winnipeg location, just give us a call to set up an appointment and we would be happy to show you around.

We have shipping agreements in place with over 80 logistics terminals across the country. These agreements allow us to keep our shipping costs affordable and offer free shipping to any of these 80 locations. We crate the machine and they will be able to forklift it into your truck or trailer at the terminal (no ramp door trailers).

1. KWM is the only gutter machine that produces the KWM K style Max profile, the strongest K style profile on the market.
2. KWM is the original gutter machine manufacturer, and has been selling gutter machines for over 60 years. Most other manufacturers copy the KWM gutter machine but with cheaper parts and lighter weight frames.
3. Service – KWM has after hours support and service to make sure your machine is up and running and making you money. Before you make the decision to buy a machine try calling for service to all the different manufacturers or dealers and see who answers their phone and is ready to help. Advance Building Supplies and KWM both offer 24 /7 service to make sure you are up and running should a problem ever arise.
4. KWM Gutter machines are Manufactured in Rockdale, Illinois.  While other manufacturers may be located in the United states most of their manufacturing has been outsourced to Mexico or other off shore countries to lower their production costs.
5. Most of the parts in a KWM gutter machine are made in house allowing them to perfectly control the quality of all the components in their machines.

7. KWM makes more gutter machine profiles than any other company
8. All machines are test run before they leave the factory to ensure they are ready for the field
9. Their patented Channel frame allows machines to be assembled to the absolute tightest of tolerances. Other machine manufacturers weld their frame and then have to install and shim the components to get them aligned. This allows KWM machines to be uniform where as competitor machines can all be slightly different
10. Should roller replacement ever be required it is a simple process thanks to the perfectly aligned channel frame. Other manufacturers will require leveling and shimming of replacement components.
11. The KWM gearbox ration of 35’ per minute is carefully selected to minimize startup amperage draw and lowers the chance of blown breakers or electrical failure
12. All frames and accessory parts are robot welded to ensure a perfect weld and finish every time.

We have worked out logistic deals to ship to 82 points across the country not only to provide fast, reliable and affordable pick up options, but most importantly to provide points that are equipped to handle pick up of an eavestrough machine. We can ship it directly to your location however you must have the following. There also may be an extra charge when delivering it directly to your location.
Ability to accept a 53’ semi truck / trailer
A 5000# or larger forklift
8’ Fork Extensions
A warehouse that is open all the time during normal business hours to accept delivery without an appointment

As soon as we ship your machine you will receive a shipping email that will allow you to track your shipment.  Once your shipment arrives at the warehouse you will receive a phone call that your shipment is ready for pick up.  Please ensure you confirm with the warehouse before you go to pick up your shipment as some times the tracking data will show your item has arrived but may not be ready for pick up yet.  Once you receive notice that your shipment has arrived you have a 24 hour window to pick up your machine.  After 24 hours storage fees will apply.

In order to get the lowest shipping rates possible, we only have a 24 hour window for items to be picked up once delivered.  If you know you won’t be able to pick up your shipment we can always delay shipping for you, but once your items are shipped it is out of our control and you would be responsible for all late pickup charges directly to the warehouse

Luckily we have an extremely good track record when it comes to shipping. We place items on an oversize pallet to reduce the change of them getting bumped or damaged however occasionally accidents can occur. You are responsible for the insurance on your machine while it is in shipping. Also please check over your machine fully before you accept the shipment to make sure there is no damage to the machine.

YES!  The new computer controller from KWM can be installed on older Iron man machines.  Simply send us your serial number and we can ensure we have the correct kit for you.  Installation takes a couple hours.  Stay tuned for our install videos!
